These dogs were in their element.

The weather was prime and the snow was fluffy, so my cousin and I decided to take her two Malemutes—Moose (left, black) and Bear (right, brown)—up north for some hiking and photos.

They were in their prime, constantly rolling through the powdery snow and tugging my cousin along behind them like the sled dogs they are.
